Antique English serving pair by John Blyde of Sheffield, featuring genuine mother-of-pearl handles with decorative EPNS A1 silverplate serving ends. The set includes a three-tine serving or pickle fork and a broad flat butter/preserve or small serving spreader. Both pieces are marked for John Blyde and Sheffield, England. The handles have beautiful natural iridescence, while the silverplate shows light surface wear and tarnish consistent with age. A lovely Victorian/Edwardian era serving set with both decorative appeal and practical use. Fork measures approximately 6 3/4 inches long; spreader measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long.
