Vintage Mahr Gage No.40SF 0-1" Indicating Micrometer .0001" w/ Original Case

Vintage Mahr Gage Co. No. 40SF Indicating Micrometer with original wooden storage case.  This precision measuring instrument was manufactured in Germany by Mahr and distributed by Mahr Gage Co., New York.  The micrometer shows normal cosmetic wear from age and previous use. The indicator face has visible finish wear, and the wooden storage case has scratches, scuffs, and general storage marks consistent with vintage industrial equipment.  Includes only what is shown in the photographs.  Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.  The instrument has not been professionally calibrated or certified for accuracy. It is being sold as a vintage precision measuring instrument exactly as pictured.
