HL1 HELMET LIGHT - Multi-Use High-Performance LED Helmet Light with Z71 MOLLE Clip, Waterproof Case, and SUREFIRE Sticker Set
The body is made of tan reinforced polymer. It features 5 main lamps excluding the IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) light, with 3 being primary and the remaining 2 being secondary. The primary lamps are white, while the secondary lamps are infrared and red. The illumination level for each can be changed from Lo to Med to Hi using the press switches located in the center of the body.
The main lamps and the IFF beacon can be operated independently. All lights can be turned off simultaneously by loosening the battery cap. The battery cap is attached to the body with a strap, preventing loss even in the dark.
The light is secured to the side of the helmet using a clamp and a set screw. Currently confirmed compatible helmets include the US military's ACH (Advanced Combat Helmet) and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Type 88 helmet. By attaching the Z71 MOLLE clip, it can be mounted to the MOLLE system on tactical vests.
The SureFire Helmet Light offers 3 levels of brightness. The maximum output is sufficient to illuminate your immediate surroundings.
The LED colors are 4 types. All models are equipped with an infrared intermittent lighting function as an Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) beacon.
The casing for the solid-state LED light source is made of polymer resin. Its lightweight body is waterproof.
