Striped Persimmon, Black Persimmon Mini Incense Container/Accessory Case
The body and lid are made from the same piece of wood, showcasing an interesting striped persimmon pattern.
This is a rare wood.
Dimensions: Diameter 7.8 cm, Total height 3.5 cm, Inner diameter of body 5.7 cm, Depth of body 1.7 cm
Finished with a glass coating. If finished with blown lacquer, the black color would obscure the striped persimmon pattern, diminishing its unique appeal.
This item was recently finished.
Handcrafted by Yuji Matsuoka, a full member of the Japan Traditional Crafts Association.
Comes with a brief biography in a paulownia wood box.
