This is a patch (emblem) for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's 24th Air Squadron (Komatsushima Base).
The 24th Air Squadron (Komatsushima Air Base) belongs to the 24th Air Group of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
The design is inspired by Minamoto no Yoshitsune, who is associated with the local city of Komatsushima, and the rough waves and whirlpools of the Naruto Strait. Operational role: It is the symbol of a unit that operates the anti-submarine patrol helicopters SH-60J/K.

*【The Velcro is attached with the male (A) side with the design and the female (B) side cut to the same size for storage.】
