Empoli Amber Hobnail Genie Bottle Decanter Flame Stopper 22" Italy

A classic piece of midcentury Italian glass, this tall Empoli decanter is formed in rich amber glass with an allover raised hobnail or bubble texture. The elongated genie-bottle form is finished with a dramatic flame-shaped stopper carrying the same textured surface. Comparable examples are generally dated to the 1960s. Measurements: • Height: 22.5 • Width: 5.5 Very good vintage condition. The glass bung is intact, fits snugly, and is notably well preserved. The stopper contains what appears to be a trapped air pocket or blower's breath, a manufacturing variation from the glassmaking process rather than later damage. No chips or cracks observed in the supplied photographs. At COMAC Collection, each piece is selected for its craftsmanship, design, and enduring character. Vintage objects naturally show signs of age and use, and any notable condition details are described and photographed as accurately as possible. All items come from a smoke-free home.
