1966 Gillette Slim Adjustable L4 & Flare Tip Super Speed L3 Razors Case

Vintage 1966 Gillette safety razor lot featuring two Made in USA double-edge razors: a Gillette Slim Adjustable with L4 date code and a Gillette Flare Tip Super Speed with L3 date code. The L4 Slim Adjustable dates to the fourth quarter of 1966 and features the numbered 1–9 adjustment dial, textured handle and twist-to-open butterfly head. The L3 Flare Tip Super Speed dates to the third quarter of 1966 and has the classic flared twist knob and butterfly head. Includes the box of vintage Gillette Thin 10 Blades shown, and a vintage Orvin Sportsman hinged case with brown faux-reptile-pattern exterior, gold-tone trim and illustrated sports-themed lining. the case is about 5 x 3.5 x 1.5.  Vintage pre-owned condition with surface wear, discoloration/tarnish and residue consistent with age and use. Case shows wear from age and use. Gillette blade box has considerable wear, but all ten blades are there. Razors have not been tested for shaving performance.
