Just add eggs and water, turn it on, and it will automatically shut off when done. It's been stored in its box since its first use, but there are some signs of age, such as metal discoloration and minor damage to the cord's coating.
However, I tested it by making one hard-boiled egg, and it came out easily peelable and delicious, even without piercing the shell! ( ╹▽╹ )
Be careful, as the finished eggs are piping hot.
