Antique 1920's Art Deco Micro Beaded Flapper Purse Cobalt Blue Gold Ornate Frame

A breathtaking piece of authentic Jazz Age history! This original 1920's flapper-era evening bag features thousands of tiny, shimmering cobalt blue and metallic gold micro-glass seed beads. The intricate pattern showcases stunning vertical stripes and geometric chevron waves that beautifully catch the light.   The bag is mounted to an exceptionally detailed, ornate gold-tone metal frame decorated with deep relief filigree etching. The frame features a gorgeous dimensional floral rosette kiss-lock clasp that operates smoothly and snaps shut securely. Includes the original metal chain link top handle.   IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE: Exterior: The beadwork is in wonderful antique condition for its age. It is structurally solid with only minor, negligible bead loss along the very top edge where it meets the frame. No major bare patches. The metal frame shows a warm, authentic aged patina Interior: The inner silk lining is completely shattered/frayed and separating from the frame rim, which is common for a weighted purse of this age.
