Vtg GUMP'S San Francisco Silk Obi Brocade Cranes Purse Handbag with Coin Purse

Vintage Gumps of San Francisco silk Obi Brocade clutch handbag purse with matching coin purse. A ivory, gold, peach to orange, black, green with a crane and flower design. Per card inside the wallet  Fashioned from the exquisite Brocade used in the wide kimono sashes (Obis) worn by Japanese women. No two Ovis are alike. GUMP'S San Francisco  Fold over clutch with a tan silk lining with an inner pocket and a goldtone zipper closure. The coin purse or wallet has a kisslock clasp for the coin compartment, which has an inner pocket unfold with a snap closure to reveal a bill compartment. Made in Japan.  The clutch purse is about 9.5 inches in length and about 7 inches in height, and pouch like that expands to about 3 to 4 inches  The wallet coin purse is about 4 inches wide and about 7 inches in length when unfolded.  There is some thread fraying at the seams. See photos  Both have a smell of old pressed powder makeup and old-fashioned perfume that might have been stored inside
