Hida Shunkei Lacquerware High-Footed Bowl, Size 9
16.50 $
Description
This is a 9-inch Hida Shunkei-nuri high-footed bowl.
Shunkei-nuri is a lacquerware technique where transparent lacquer is applied over a base that brings out the wood grain. It is characterized by its amber gloss and the beauty of its translucent wood grain.
I found this while tidying up my parents' home.
It is brand new and unused. I am looking for buyers who understand that this is a long-term storage item.
Diameter: 27cm, Overall height: 6.5cm
Base diameter: 14.5cm
Base height: 3cm
Please excuse any slight errors as these are amateur measurements.
Thank you for looking.
