This is a balaclava from Oakley's SI (Standard Issue) line.
The fabric is made from a special carbon fiber called CarbonX, boasting excellent fire resistance and flame retardancy.
Its fire-resistant properties allow it to maintain its soft fabric state for a while even when exposed to high-temperature flames or molten metal, without charring.
This is advanced FR (flame-resistant) apparel that protects against burns from sparks, fires, explosions, molten metal splashes, and certain chemicals.

The material is designed for use in harsh environments such as military operations, firefighting, and steel mills, making it over-spec for general use.
However, the fabric is soft and warm, so it can be used as a ski mask, neck warmer, or helmet liner.
