【Rare/Not for Sale】KDD Tokyo Office Building Completion Commemorative Shirokiya Lacquerware Aizu-nuri Confectionery Bowl

This is a lacquered confectionery container (with lid) made by the traditional craft shop Shirokiya Lacquerware Store to commemorate the new building completion of the former KDD (now KDDI) Tokyo office.
A refined masterpiece from the long-established Shirokiya Lacquerware Store, featuring a deep, lustrous black lacquer finish adorned with beautiful gold and silver *makie* (Paulownia crest). The underside of the lid is engraved with Commemorating the New Building Completion of Kokusai Denshin Denwa Co., Ltd. Tokyo Office and the KDD logo of the time, making it an item of high historical value.

There is some peeling on the gold-leafed chrysanthemum crest (see image 11). It is priced lower due to this, making it ideal for those who want to casually use traditional Shirokiya lacquerware or add it to their collection.

The reverse chrysanthemum crest has long been known as a dignified family crest, and its elegant design stands out against the jet-black lacquer.
