Polarized lenses use a special chemical filter designed to block horizontal light waves. This eliminates the blinding glare that bounces off flat surfaces like water, wet roads, car hoods, or snow.Enhanced Contrast: Because the glare is filtered out, you will notice increased visual clarity, truer color perception, and reduced eye strain during long hours outdoors. The CE #3 Sync: The compliance stamp CE #3 means the lenses have a Category 3 dark tint. Combining a dark Category 3 tint with a polarized filter gives you the highest level of sun protection available for intense, bright conditions like driving or being near water
