Description
Originally, there were 2 boxes with 10 pieces, but one box has been sold, and this is the last box.
Wajima-nuri Soga Roshi Hanaikada Makie (Flower Raft Maki-e) Clamshell-shaped Table Trays, 5 pieces.
Unused item.
Natural wood, urushi lacquerware (There is no quality tag, but I guarantee it is natural wood).
A luxurious piece with a mother-of-pearl inlay of cherry blossoms on a pearlescent raft.
The flowing raft and scattering petals create a tasteful scene.
The underside has a raised base.
The raised base prevents warping even after many years of use. It also has the appeal of not scratching the tabletop.
All tray undersides are inscribed with Roshi Saku (Made by Roshi).
The tableware in the images is for illustrative purposes only and is not included.
The plate stand is also not included.
