Vietnam War ARVN Tiger Stripe Boonie Hat (Made with Genuine Fabric)

This is an old replica Tiger Stripe boonie hat, manufactured using genuine ripstop fabric in the VNMC pattern, which appeared in the late Vietnam War. It was purchased from MILITARIA 1911 VINTAGE. It generally adopts the cut of an ARVN bush hat, with a short brim that is not horizontal but cut to droop downwards from the start. This is a common type found in locally made boonie hats. Although it is made from late-war fabric, the use of genuine material is highly appealing. This is a long-term storage item from an older era, from when the fabric was first discovered.
