Vintage Chinese Cloisonne 9 1/4" Baluster Vase Wood Stand Mille Fleur Brass

Featuring an incredibly dense mille fleur (thousand flowers) pattern, this piece showcases a meticulous web of hand-applied brass filigree wirework.  The vibrant, multi-colored floral details pop beautifully against a deep, lustrous ground of warm russet-red and rich burgundy.  Standing at 9 1/4 tall (not including the wood base), its classic, elegant curves are perfectly complimented by its original, custom-carved dark wood display stand.  It makes an exquisite addition to an office desk, shelving layout, or vanity vignette.  The base features the traditional, vibrant turquoise blue counter-enamel underbelly typical of high-quality handmade export enamelware from the mid-to-late 20th century.
