Description
Beautiful matching pair of vintage Goodsell Mold Co. ceramic porcelain decorative ewers, featuring ornate Victorian/Rococo-inspired styling and colorful romantic courting couple scenes. Each ewer has an elegant creamy white glazed finish with elaborate raised detailing, including scrollwork, textured beading, decorative handles, flared spouts, and pedestal-style bases. The two transfer scenes are different but complementary, making these especially attractive displayed together. The bottoms are embossed Goodsell Mold Co. with mold numbers 134 and 135. They are in great vintage condition and may show slight surface wear due to age. These large decorative ewers would make a beautiful addition to a vintage, Victorian, romantic, cottage, traditional, or French-inspired interior. Display them together on a mantel, buffet, dresser, entryway table, or china cabinet.
