Description
Vintage Mid-Century Italian Barbotine Majolica 3D Applied Fruit Vase 🍋🍎 Add a gorgeous pop of mid-century Italian charm to your home decor! This stunning vintage art pottery vase features a vibrant, high-gloss white Majolica glaze decorated with hand-painted green ivy vines. The star of the show is the heavy, 3-dimensional Barbotine work, featuring hand-applied, high-relief fruit clusters—including bright yellow pears/apples and red berries clustered around a rustic branch handle accent. The bottom is stamped in green with the authentic HAND PAINTED ITALY hallmark. Beautiful display piece for a kitchen, dining room, or maximalist shelf! CONDITION DETAILS: • Main ceramic body, trailing ivy paint, and intricate 3D fruit details are in beautiful vintage condition. • Flaws: There are visible chips and glaze flakes along the top flared rim (please view close-up top-view photos carefully). The unglazed beige ceramic shows through in these spots. • Priced accordingly for these vintage flaws! This is a highly fragile item with delicate 3D elements. It will be wrapped with extreme care in heavy bubble wrap to ensure it arrives safely!
