This hand-thrown piece perfectly captures a rustic, Wabi-Sabi aesthetic with its striking contrast of textures and tones. The vase features a rich, iron-red clay body partially coated in a high-gloss, mottled ash-style glaze with beautiful pooling, frothy cream overtones, and deliberate iron-spot bleeds. The bottom is raw and features a deeply incised artist signature/cipher.
