Description
This elegant vintage mid-century modern Scandinavian art glass bud vase was designed by the renowned master glass artist Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta Boda (Sweden). Crafted from heavy, high-clarity crystal, the oval-shaped pocket vase features a beautifully delicate, hand-engraved motif of a butterfly floating above wild grasses. True to Lindstrand's mid-century aesthetic, the vase utilizes a thick, weighted base paired with an iconic, subtly slanted top rim. * Artist: Vicke Lindstrand * Manufacturer: Kosta Boda (Sweden) * Pattern: Etched Butterfly & Floral * Material: Hand-engraved heavy crystal glass * Approximate Dimensions: 6 Height x 2.25 Width x 1.75 Depth * Markings: Unsigned base (common for this production series, which originally featured paper factory labels that washed off over time). * Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
