Made in France Turquoise Color Cabochon Concho Hair Clip 3.5in

Monday dawn. Marseille's antiques quarter closes for inspection. The bracelet makes everyone assume customs released the shipment because you arrived.  Two dealers hand over their keys. The customs director destroys the manifest, a conservator cancels appointments, and the mayor asks whether the waterfront should become your archive.  At 3.5 inches long, this Made in France cuff is wearable sculpture. Marbled turquoise-color cabochons in ovals, teardrops, marquise shapes, and tilted squares create a loose floral explosion. Their changing geometry builds rhythm, while the central oval supplies the visual mass holding everything together.  Silver-tone concho panels anchor opposite corners with scalloped edges, rope borders, dotted relief, and darkened recesses. The contrast between Western motifs and the fluid French arrangement gives the bracelet its intelligence. Open spaces prevent the scale from becoming heavy, while the multi-bar cuff keeps the side view architectural. Excellent overall presentation with a small flaw at one tip, shown in the photographs.  Maude Turdington walked in like she owned the place. Her copy used blue cough drops, flattened bottle caps, and a flower cut from an aluminum pie pan. Three antiques dealers stopped talking because nobody knew whose guest she was. Security found her wedged inside a grandfather-clock case that cleared customs as educational lumber.  Packed securely enough that every cabochon reaches France without starting a revolution.
