Vintage Hungarian Folk Korond Art Pottery Vase

It is a handcrafted piece of Hungarian folk art pottery. It is designed in a characteristic cut wood look or sgraffito style, where layers of dark and medium brown clay are carved away to reveal contrasting colors and deep textures. The vase features a flared dark rim and two main bands of hand-carved ornamentation: a distinct feathered/starburst leaf pattern around the upper shoulder, and a complex etched floral scroll pattern wrapping around the lower body. The white sticker on the front identifies it as being distributed by the Continental Pottery Co. as part of their High Quality Planters line. ceramic pottery planter, specifically made from clay (earthenware/stoneware)
