Description
Attractive antique oval picture frame from the Victorian era. Believed to be from the 1860s-1880s. Glossy black lacquer or shellac finish on wood with metallic brass-tone beading detailing. No missing beads. Raised bubble glass dome, giving texture and 3D effect. Inner velvet liner is very faded. Small hanging brass ring. Photo of gentleman named on back. Paper backing was mostly removed at one point in time. Age appropriate signs of wear. Overall in very good condition for its age.
