Description
Beautiful vintage new old stock tooled red leather wallet, believed to have been made in Mexico and dating approximately to the mid-20th century. The exterior features exceptionally detailed tooling, with an Aztec/Mesoamerican-inspired calendar medallion and geometric decoration on one side and a striking tooled bird design on the reverse. A decorative border surrounds both designs. Inside, the rich red finish continues throughout, with two snap-closure compartments and additional storage pockets. The wallet closes securely with a leather tab and black snap. This piece appears never to have been carried or used and is being offered as new old stock (NOS).
