This is a maki-e document box and inkstone case.
Although the original box is missing, it is believed to be Wajima-nuri.

Large Box: A4 size paper fits in the lower compartment.
As shown in the 4th photo, there are a few areas where the maki-e has peeled off, but no other major scratches or stains are visible.

Small Box: This is the inkstone case. It has been used a few times, and even after washing, the inkstone does not look as clean as new. We hope you will use it as intended.
There are no major scratches, stains, or peeling on the outside of this case, but the name of the organization it was gifted to is written on the inside of the lid. Please purchase only if this is not a concern for you.

As the original box is missing, the item will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped via Raku-Raku Mercari便 or Yuu-Yuu Mercari便.
