Showa Retro Koji Wooden Lacquerware Inkstone Box Sparrow and Momiji

  Thank you for viewing.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

This is a 43-year-old Showa retro wooden lacquerware inkstone box from my parents' home. It is decorated with sparrows and Momiji.
It does not appear to have been used for calligraphy tools, and the inside is clean with no signs of use. It can also be used as a document box or a small item container.
A name and date are inscribed in brushstrokes and gold leaf on the inside of the lid as a commemorative item.
Please note that some of the posted images have been obscured to protect personal information.
A portion of the Momiji branch design at the bottom is missing.
There is some gold leaf adhered to the top of the lid.
There is no major damage, but as it is a vintage item that has been stored over time, there are minor scratches and scuffs that have naturally occurred. Please understand this as a characteristic of vintage items.
As it is lacquerware, it has only been lightly wiped clean. Please understand that there may be some light dirt and dust remaining.
It will be shipped via Mercari delivery service (60-80 size).
