Vintage Dooney & Bourke Essex AWL Brown British Tan Leather Crossbody

Part of a private vintage estate collection belonging to a longtime retired Macy’s employee. This bag was personally owned as part of her extensive collection of vintage designer handbags accumulated over many years.  Vintage Dooney & Bourke Essex shoulder/crossbody bag from the classic All-Weather Leather collection. Crafted in rich chocolate brown pebbled leather with British Tan trim, solid brass hardware and the iconic embossed Dooney & Bourke duck medallion.  Features a structured flap silhouette, leather-and-brass tab closure, adjustable leather shoulder/crossbody strap, exterior back pocket, multiple interior compartments including zippered storage, and protective brass feet.  Made in USA with original red, white and blue Dooney & Bourke cloth label intact.  Good vintage condition with beautiful natural patina consistent with age. Pebbled leather remains rich and structured. British Tan trim shows surface wear, darkening and edge wear from use, and brass hardware has natural vintage oxidation/verdigris in areas. Bottom and strap show light scuffing. No major structural damage noted. Please review all photos closely for condition.
