This authentic, deadstock vintage 1980s Ginnie Johansen adjustable waist belt features an oversized, structured pre-tied bow right at the front. Made from crisp black ribbed grosgrain material, it secures and adjusts seamlessly in the back using a beige hook-and-loop textured strip.  This piece is brand new with its original paper price tag from Brittany Ltd., a famous upscale, high-end department store that operated on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and Michigan Avenue until the mid-1980s. The original price tag lists it at $22.50. It features the early Pat. Pend. blue woven Ginnie Johansen tag inside, dating it perfectly to the early 1980s. Perfect for cinching a vintage dress, blazer, or high-waisted trousers!  Condition: New with tags (NWT) / Deadstock vintage condition. The belt has never been worn. The grosgrain material is stiff, clean, and holds its bow shape beautifully. The hook-and-loop strip is clean and entirely functional.
