Set of 2 oval lacquerware (Kanazawa foil) trinket boxes.
Received at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Osaka.
Features designs of the Gohonden (Main Sanctuary) and Taiko-bashi (Drum Bridge), which are National Treasures of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine.
The foil on the lid is handmade using Kanazawa foil, designated as a traditional craft material by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
The surface of the lower container is lacquered and finished one by one (from the instruction manual) (please see photo 5 for details).

New, unused item.
Only one was removed from its bag for photography for this listing.
