Vintage Hand Painted Wooden Folk Art Plate Floral Tole Art 8” Wall Decor

Beautiful vintage hand-painted wooden decorative plate featuring an intricate symmetrical floral folk-art design in rich shades of green, orange, yellow, brown and cream.  The plate features repeating stylized floral and leaf motifs around the border, a detailed central floral medallion, decorative dot accents and a glossy painted finish. The colorful, highly detailed artwork gives this piece wonderful European folk-art/rosemaling-inspired character.  The plate measures approximately 8 inches in diameter and has a small hole on the reverse for hanging display. The back is unfinished natural wood and does not have a visible maker's mark. Origin is unknown.  This is a decorative/display piece and is not being represented as food-safe dinnerware.
