Measures 4 inches in diameter and 1.5 in depth Clock is removed from base by removing the silver face plate. **I did replace the battery and notice that the clock mechanism does not appear to be working. Battery compartment is clean. The clock would need repair or be used for decorative purposes. No flaws, cracks or chips noted to the crystal base
