Vintage Philippe Starck Fossil PH-1003 Orange Digital Watch Working LCD Bleed

Rare vintage Philippe Starck with Fossil digital watch, model PH-1003, in the distinctive translucent orange colorway with stainless steel accents and signed Starck clasp.  The watch is currently powered and running with a fresh battery. A small nonconductive internal shim was added to maintain proper battery-contact pressure, and the display now remains on.  Condition:  * Digital display powers on and is currently functioning * Time and digital information are visible * Visible LCD bleed/ghosting/discoloration is present in the display; please review photos closely * Battery contact required additional pressure, so a small internal nonconductive shim has been installed * Timer, alarm, chronograph, and other functions have not been fully tested * Orange integrated band/case shows normal age and light wear * Stainless steel trim and clasp show scratches/scuffs consistent with use * Original signed Philippe Starck clasp * Caseback marked Philippe Starck with Fossil, PH-1003, Water Resistant 50 Meters / 5 ATM  A scarce and unusual Philippe Starck/Fossil design with strong display presence despite the LCD condition.
