A beautiful Victorian-era collection of Edgar Allan Poe’s poetry, accompanied by a memoir by J. H. Ingram. Includes Poe’s iconic poem “The Raven,” along with many other poems and essays. Decorative page borders and gilt page edges add to the appeal of this handsome antique volume, finished with an ornate illustrated binding. Belford, Clarke & Co. Overall fair to good condition for its age. The title page is detached, and front endpaper is loose. One interior page is loose at the bottom. A few pages have small edge tears or tiny chips. A few also have small dark ink/printing marks over portions of the text, likely from the original printing process. Pages have expected age toning and occasional spotting. Binding shows some wear and fraying at the spine ends and corners. Lovely gilt page edges have wear as expected for age. Please see all pictures as well to help determine condition.
