Charvaux Swiss Manual Wind Watch Small Seconds Antimagnetic Running
Charvaux
A genuine vintage Swiss mechanical wristwatch with classic mid-century styling — and this one is currently RUNNING. Offered here is an uncommon Charvaux Swiss Made manual-wind wristwatch, featuring the clean, restrained design that makes vintage 1940s–1960s Swiss watches so appealing today. The silver-tone dial features elegant applied gold-tone hour markers at 12 and 6, slender baton markers, matching gold-tone hands and a traditional subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock. Printed prominently above the seconds register is: ANTIMAGNETIC with SWISS MADE positioned along the bottom of the dial. Inside is a Swiss manual-wind mechanical movement marked: SWISS MADE MEPA WATCH CORP. NO (0) JEWEL UNADJUSTED The inside of the case is additionally signed MEPA WATCH CORP. / SWISS MADE. The exterior case back carries attractive period markings: ANTIMAGNETIC NIVAROX ALUMINIUM SWISS MADE Those details make this considerably more interesting than an unidentified vintage mechanical watch. RUNNING CONDITIONThe watch winds and is currently RUNNING. It has not been professionally serviced or timed, and we do not know its service history, accuracy or power reserve. Because this is a decades-old mechanical watch, no guarantee of future timekeeping performance is implied. COSMETIC CONDITIONThe watch remains in honest vintage condition with visible age and wear. The dial shows surface marks, scratches and age-related discoloration/patina. The case shows scratches, plating wear and general handling
