【Unused Item】Hida Shunkkei (Hida Lacquerware) Celebration/Condolence Tray (Stamp Tray)
10.23 $
Description
Approx. 13 x 21 cm
Material: As indicated on the care label in the photo, this is a traditional craft made from natural wood with natural lacquer (or the transparent lacquer specific to Shunkei lacquerware).
Use: It is considered proper etiquette to place congratulatory money envelopes (for weddings, etc.) or condolence money envelopes (for offerings, funeral donations, etc.) on this tray when presenting them, rather than handing them directly.
Features of Hida Shunkei: Its characteristic is that the lacquer becomes more transparent with use, and you can enjoy the aging process as the beauty of the wood grain shines with an amber hue.
