Description
Civil Defence MKIII Police Helmet (Genuine Item)
This is a British police helmet from the 1940s-1950s, based on the Royal Army's (British Army) masterpiece MK4 (Turtle Helmet) from the WW2 era.
Many fans will appreciate the design, which is distinct from the MK3 dish helmet. A characteristic of this item is that the straps are positioned further outward than on the MK3. The interior also remains as it was from the period. No particular damage is observed. Please be aware of age-related scratches and scuffs as this is a vintage item.
