Description
This is an antique or vintage gold-filled black grosgrain ribbon pocket watch fob with a chain and clip. It was used to secure a pocket watch, with one end clipping onto a pocket or waistband and the other attaching to the watch. The dog clip is marked S.O.B. & Co. The watch-winding key fob is more than likely a presented award from a dog show in 1948 - see pictures. This beauty is likely Victorian or early 20th century. It is 9 in total length. The ribbon is grosgrain, and the metal components are thought to be gold-filled as they do not stick to rare earth magnets. This is an estate item.
