🌸 Glamorous Vintage Late 1940s Dusty Pink New Look Skirt Suit 🌸

An absolutely enchanting late 1940s New Look skirt suit, rendered in a sophisticated rosy pink and soft gray striped textile. With its sharply defined waist, sculpted shoulders, fitted peplum-style jacket and dramatically sweeping skirt, this set captures the ultra-feminine silhouette that transformed fashion after Dior introduced the New Look in 1947.  The jacket is beautifully detailed with a softly structured collar framed by rows of decorative stitching and scattered rhinestone accents, giving just the right touch of postwar glamour. Matching fabric-covered buttons run down the front, while original shoulder pads create that unmistakable late-1940s shape. Princess seaming draws the jacket closely into the waist before releasing gently over the hips.  The matching skirt is the real showpiece: exceptionally full and graceful, with the striped fabric arranged into dramatic chevron panels that emphasize its sweeping silhouette.
