The bas-relief panel features a charming European folk art style depicting a young boy and girl hiking through a landscape with walking sticks and a basket. The back features the authentic original workshop ink stamp reading: Toni Baur Holzschnitzerei, Dorfstr. 27, 8103 Oberammergau Because it features the old 4-digit German postal code (8103), this piece can be reliably dated before 1993, likely originating from the 1970s or 1980s. It features a keyhole slot on the back for easy wall hanging and displays beautifully on a tabletop easel stand. Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
