Description
Round butterfly wing picture featuring a sailing ship at sea. The scene combines reverse-painted glass with genuine iridescent butterfly wings, creating striking blue, purple, and copper color shifts as the viewing angle changes. Circa 1930s–1950s, this piece features a convex glass front and a black frame. The original faded backing stamp includes the wording “REAL BUTTERFLY WINGS,” and the hanging hardware remains attached. This unusual piece of vintage maritime décor serves as a beautiful example of folk-art style wall decoration. Measurements: • Diameter: 3 • Depth: 0.5
