This is an authentic vintage hand-woven lidded trinket or sewing basket exported from China in the late 20th century. It features a highly detailed, tight coiled stitch design using natural sweetgrass and straw fibers, accented with dyed reddish-brown geometric zig-zag banding patterns. The removable flat-top lid is finished with a small, integrated woven loop handle in the center.
