Wonderful vintage Steiff “Cockie” Cocker Spaniel dog, approximately 4 inches long. This charming little Steiff dog features golden-brown plush, wonderfully expressive black-and-white eyes, long floppy ears, a velveteen muzzle with hand-painted facial details, and an adorable open mouth with tongue. Most importantly, he retains his original Steiff “Cockie” name/chest tag around his neck — a wonderful feature for collectors. This small Cockie design dates to the vintage Steiff era and appears consistent with examples produced during the 1950s. Approximately 4 inches long. Condition is very nice for its age, with attractive fur and wonderful character. Original chest/name tag remains attached. The gray ribbon/bow is present as shown. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition and details, as they form an important part of the description.
