Lacquerware bowl, soup bowl, two cranes, maki-e, folk art, tableware, antique, Meiji, Taisho, Showa

This is a single antique lacquered soup bowl.
I believe it is from the Taisho era.
It was found in the warehouse of my old family home.

It was stored wrapped in paper from when it was purchased, as shown in images 9 and 10. (The paper bag is not included.)
I thought it might be unused, but it may have been used a few times for New Year's or festivals.
There are some minor scuffs, particularly on the inside.
The black areas on the rim in images 2 and 3 are areas where the lacquer was originally thin. They are not chips or scratches.

There are no lacquer peels or damage on any of the bowls, and both the lacquer and the wood are in solid condition, indicating good craftsmanship.
