These are 12 Wajima-nuri lacquered soup bowls with lids. The exterior is chestnut brown and the interior is black.
These are elegant chestnut-colored bowls, with lotus buds and crabs decorated with *chinkin* (sunken gold) on the underside of the lids.
The design is refreshing and perfect for the upcoming season.

These are antique soup bowls with a history. As they are made of wood, there are some distortions overall, but they are in good condition with almost no chips or peeling.
The inside of the bowls has some discoloration and fine scratches from use.
Due to the distortions, some lids may not close tightly.
Some may have a gap of about 1-2mm in places.

*The box inscription indicates 20 servings, but we are offering 12 servings (12 bowls).
