Actual German Military (German Air Force) Black Leather Pilot Shoes, Unused Deadstock

Rare German Air Force pilot shoes manufactured from the 1970s to the 1980s.

While many brands have sampled these shoes, they are famously the inspiration for Maison Margiela's sneakers.

The studded rubber outsole provides a secure fit, originally designed for walking on the metal surfaces of military aircraft. The three Velcro straps on the lacing area allow for quick on and off, and easy re-securing. They also reduce the risk of accidents caused by laces snagging on something.

Made from high-quality black leather and suede, these shoes have a very distinctive atmosphere. The suede toe enhances durability.

An extremely rare item with a simple, timeless design that has influenced brands worldwide.
