Description
This is a large sake cup inscribed with Osaka Tax Administration Bureau, Showa 11-12 Land Rent Price Revision Survey Commemorative.
Sizes:
Large: Diameter approx. 11.7cm, Height 3.8cm
Medium: Diameter approx. 10.4cm, Height 3.0cm
Small: Diameter approx. 8.6cm, Height 2.7cm
A sticker is attached to the back of the box lid, though it is peeling. It reads Wakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, Domestic Aizu~. It appears to have been made in Aizu, famous for its lacquerware, at the request of Osaka. As shown in the photos, there seems to be a slight scratch on the character for bureau (局) in Tax Administration Bureau.
