It appears to have been stored long-term in the wrapping paper of Ginza Masuiwaya, as shown in the photo.
I am also listing other items, and several bolts of fabric from Tokyo Masuiwaya have come to light. All of them were labeled 100% cotton, so I believe this is also likely cotton, but I cannot be certain.
