Description
This is a nagajuban (under-kimono) that was found in my grandmother's tansu (chest of drawers). It has a red color that looks like it was dyed later. Perhaps it was used for the 13th birthday ceremony or something similar. There is a strap attached to the back. The material feels like silk, but I don't think it's koken (a type of silk lining). The lining of the body might be cotton. It's lined (awase), so it seems warm.
This would be perfect for someone who enjoys fashion with old kimonos. We are offering this to those who are familiar with handling antique kimonos.
