This is a brand new, unworn item with the original stitching still intact. Size is measured by hand. Please allow for some margin of error. Length (from shoulder): 154cm Sleeve length: 45.5cm 裄丈 (sleeve to sleeve): 62cm Front width: 24cm Back width: 29cm Made of silk, with the characteristic texture of tsumugi. It has a slight sheen. It feels somewhat rough, but it seems like it will soften with wear. In my personal opinion, it's not as shiny as Oshima Tsumugi, nor as smooth as Yuki Tsumugi. Of the ones I know, it has a thickness that reminds me of Gujo Tsumugi. Perhaps it's nama-tsumugi (raw silk tsumugi)? Although it's new, it has been stored for a long time. There appear to be no stains or blemishes. Includes shoulder padding (white fabric) and waist padding (matching fabric). No crest. This listing is for the kimono only. The paper wrapping and obi are not included. I'm not very knowledgeable about kimonos, but please feel free to ask any questions in the comments. I have other kimonos and obi for sale.
